Daddy (eyebrows raised, looking under the table): "Did you mean to let your baby fall on the floor?"
Mara (in an unconcerned tone): "No. She just tipped off accidently." [finishes off bite of grilled cheese before retriving said progeny]
That's just funny on so many levels. We were at Waterloo's, so maybe Mommy had a bit too much of the brewsky?
Okay. Maybe you had to be there. Or know just how INTO baby dolls Mara really is...

Make the Pie Higher
This is a short poem made up entirely of actual quotations from George W. Bush. These have been arranged, only for aesthetic purposes, by Washington Post writer, Richard Thompson.
MAKE THE PIE HIGHER
by Washington Post writer, Richard Thompson
I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
And potential mential losses
Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the Internet
Become more few?
How many hands have I shaked?
They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.*
I know that the human being
And the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope,
Where wings take dream.
Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize society!
Make the pie higher!
I am the Decider!
Read http://www.snopes.com/politics/bush/piehigher.asp for a break-down of the poem. This has been circulated since 2002.
*If you are thinking to yourself, "Wow. That's a pretty good quote." I agree. However, this is the only quote that Snopes couldn't verify. And it's strangely comforting to me. It's the only quote with good grammar and (here's the important part) it shows some imagination. If we were to do that little game we learned on Sesame Street about "Which One of These Things Isn't The Same", I'd pick this quote. Go PBS.
